# Relode FAQ

## Will Relode email my active customers?
No. It only contacts customers who have slipped past their own repurchase window, and it never contacts anyone who has unsubscribed, bounced, or filed a complaint. Active, happy customers are left alone.

## Do customers always get a discount?
No. The first two touches carry no discount. A discount appears only on the incentive step, only for customers unlikely to return on their own, and only when your margin allows it. VIPs never get an automatic discount.

## How is recovered revenue calculated?
Only orders a customer places after Relode contacts them, while their win-back is still running, count as recovered. If they would have come back on their own after the sequence ended, it does not count. The attribution is deliberately conservative, so the number you see is one you can trust.

## Do I have to write the emails myself?
No. Relode ships with proven win-back templates that work out of the box. On Growth and Pro you can fully customize the copy, branding, and subject lines, and Relode will A/B test subjects for you.

## How long does setup take?
A few minutes. Install, run a one-time sync, set your gross margin, and you will immediately see how much revenue is recoverable. In production the engine runs on a daily schedule automatically, so there is nothing to babysit.

## What data does Relode access?

## How is this different from my email marketing app?
Email tools blast campaigns to whole lists on a calendar. Relode targets one lapsed customer at a time, on their own rhythm, ranks them by recoverable value, discounts only when it protects your margin, stops the instant they buy, and attributes the recovered revenue in dollars.
